This website was created so I could give a name to my desire to become a published writer. Something I did earlier this year (2010). With the help of my brother Scott, we created a book of short stories based on a character called Bob Kerr; a retired builder who takes on the roll of a private detective. However there are other sides to this website which may be of interest to the readers and just as importantly the writers of books. I will give you a blow by blow account of my experience in the self publishing world. Believe me it's not just about having fifty quid and a book to share. More of that on the Self Publishing Page.
What I would like to happen on this Site is that other writers come along and submit their work. It's a big step and I am the first to admit it takes a little courage to let go that first story, but it's a great feeling when you do. Hopefully the Submissions and Forum Pages will come to its fore there.
There's bound to be new stuff being added all the time, like the Events Page which has now been added. So if you're launching a book or pamphlet let me know and I'll add it.
